Flos makes its debut in ceramics with Ronan Bouroullec’s Céramique, a trio of sculptural lights that merge the French designer’s sensitivity to volumes and silhouettes with the company’s inherently innovative nature.
The design starts with the basic composition of a lamp—base, stem, and cap—interpreted across three table lamps that share the same design but with subtle variations in orientation. Each configuration gently suggests a specific type of lighting. The downward-facing lamp is ideal for reading or use as a table lamp, the side-oriented version is designed to illuminate a corner, and the uplighter creates perfect ambient lighting.
