Analogy meets digital elements. Poetry meets technology. MOODMOON is a decorative wall lamp that combines innovation and tradition in the interplay of LED technology and Japanese paper. Thanks to an application, users can choose from 14 different lighting moods and color gradients and modify the atmosphere of a room according to their own sensibilities. In this way, MOODMOON's moods, which are partly static and partly mobile, can be tailored to the desired personal needs. Designer Sebastian Hepting, who has been a member of the Ingo Maurer team for 17 years, developed the idea for the MOODMOON luminaire in the Lockdown 2020 era, when the home is used for a variety of purposes - from work to school to home to a place to relax - and light requirements are highly varied. MOODMOON focuses on people's individual well-being, reflecting the human-centred concept of lighting.
