Part of the popular Glo Ball Series, the Glo Ball Basic Zero was created in 1998 by artist Jasper Morrison to invoke the radiant calm of a full moon. This unique table lamp has a white acid-etched glass diffuser and a base that is 30% fiberglass reinforced injection-molded polyamide (UL-94 V2). The die-cast aluminum diffuser support is painted gray.

Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959. He studied Design at Kingston Polytechnic, the Royal College of Art in London, and HDK in Berlin. Jasper opened his design office in London in 1986 and a second office in Paris in 2003.
