Marrying the functional with the otherworldly, the Glo-Ball S by Jasper Morrison is a remarkably versatile design that punctuates any room it is featured in. Its diffuser is made of externally acid-etched, hand-blown, flashed opaline glass. The diffuser support is transparent, injection-molded PC (polycarbonate). It features a 30% fiberglass reinforced injection-molded polyamide rose and includes a pressed and galvanized ceiling fitting, as well as a steel suspension cable.
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959. He studied Design at Kingston Polytechnic, the Royal College of Art in London, and HDK in Berlin. Jasper opened his design office in London in 1986 and a second office in Paris in 2003.
